The Comparison of the Develompent of Government Debt in the Czech Republic and the EU

This thesis is focused on issues of indebtedness of the Czech Republic and surrounding EU area countries.
The theoretical part explains this topic generally, reasons and kinds of indebtedness, division indebted countries, the measuring of indebtedness and possible ways to reduce or eliminate incurred debt.
The practical part is focused on recording and comparing specific parameters of debts of the ČR and EU region for the specific period of time and it is also focused on identifying mutual and different attributes of economic development of the states.
The end summarizes generated information and gives a solution to the debt problems of local area countries at the present time.

Czech government budget policy in years 2008-2013

Diploma thesis deals with analysis of income and expenditure aspect of state budget, deficit and public debt during 2008-2013 period, following Global financial and economic crisis and its induced governmental countermeasures. It then explains Goal oriented budgeting implementation process into Ministry of defense for the same period. The first chapter is dedicated to explaining theoretical background of budgeting process and enumeration of basic budgeting methods. The second part deals with state budget, concrete income and expense analysis including state deficit and public debt. The last chapter describes Goal oriented budgeting implementation process into Ministry of defense and evaluation of its basic problems. The conclusion of the thesis combines the acquired knowledge and sets conclusions and recommendations.

Vliv soudobé ekonomické krize na stavební průmysl v České a Slovenské republice

This work deals with the influence of the global economic crisis on construction industry in the the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic, including the effects of economic development on construction industry in the period before the crisis, more precisely from 2000-2012. In the theoretical part, the development of the construction industry before the crisis will be described, reasons for the financial crisis and spreading of crisis to this industry will be described too. The practical part focuses on the link between construction work and GDP in the Czech and in the Slovak Republic, it also deals with the influence of public procurement on the construction industry. The problem will be solved by using regressive analysis. The impact of the economic crisis on a particular construction company will be examined as well.

Financial crisis and its impact on public finances

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyze impact of financial crisis on public sector, especially on public expenses and government budget. First part describes mortgage crisis and its causes. Further there is an analysis of its impact on financial sector and origin of financial crisis, which after all led in economic recession. The second part is devoted to government rescue plans to boost the economy and financial system and evaluation of their efficiency. The last part is focused on debt crisis of developed countries and its possible solutions.
